Imagenation's API lets developers and integrators use any programming language to develop document solutions. Choose from ActiveX, DDE, C, OLE, OLE Automation, ODMA, or the Web Plug-In.

Designing web pages with Spicer Active X controls that don't require user activation

To help enterprise customers who require more time to prepare for the ActiveX update changes (included in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-013), Microsoft released a Compatibility Patch on April 11, 2006.

As soon as it is deployed, the Compatibility Patch will temporarily return Internet Explorer to the previous functionality for handling ActiveX controls. This Compatibility Patch will function until an Internet Explorer update is released as part of the June update cycle, at which time the changes to the way Internet Explorer handles ActiveX controls will be permanent. This compatibility patch may require an additional restart for systems it is deployed on.

API Utilities

Lester "The API Tester" is a C++ application which allows integrators to pass and test individual API calls. Lester also includes the same features of APIinUse with added support for our CAPI.

APIinUse is a Visual Basic 5 application which acts as an API sniffer. It records all DDE and OLE Automation traffic, and has a few other bells and whistles as well.
