Making the Help easier to use

This Help file is meant for those who must install and configure Imagenation for their own work environments, whether you are a System Administrator working with a large install base, or someone with a single copy of Imagenation.

This Help file outlines options for configuring Imagenation, but focuses on explaining the Image.ini file and the command line options.

You can also find useful information in other documents and help files:

· Imagenation Help (image.hlp or image.chm) explains all of the user interface elements, such as dialog boxes, and how to work with the Imagenation interface. Installed with Imagenation.

· CFG Help (cfg.hlp or cfg.chm) covers all settings in the CFG file (image.cfg by default). Imagenation for Windows users can request it or can download it from www.spicer.com.

· C API Help (capi.hlp) explains how to integrate Imagenation with another program, and directly control many of Imagenation's features. The API help file is available on the Imagenation for Windows CD. Using the API requires some programming knowledge.

• Imagenation Installation Guide (IMInstallGuide.pdf) provides details on installation, file associations and security keys. This PDF document is located on the Imagenation install CD.
