Using the standard Open dialog box

All Editions

The Imagenation Open Documents dialog box is fairly standard, except that it includes the Open as Multipage check box that allows you to create a multipage document from the documents you open. You can remove this ability by making use of the standard Windows open dialog box instead.

To use the standard Windows open dialog box in Imagenation:

1. By default, the "use standard dialog for open" keyname in the Image.ini file is locked. To unlock it, you or an integrator must create a custom Image.src file, and set "use standard dialog for open=2" in its [System] section. For more information, refer to the Imagenation CFG Help (cfg.hlp) that you can download from our web site.

2. When the setting is unlocked, open the Image.ini file in a text editor.

3. In the [System] section, find the use standard dialog for open= keyname. After the equal sign (=), type 1.

4. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.

When you restart Imagenation, the standard Windows open dialog box is used. You can no longer create multipage documents on open.
