As with HPGL and Calcomp files, AutoCAD (DXF-format and DWG-format) files can contain a number of pen lines. You can display these files in Imagenation with the colors they were assigned in AutoCAD, or you can set an INI setting to have them use the same pen colors that are set for HPGL and Calcomp files.
To display AutoCAD files with the pen colors defined for HPGL files:
1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.
2. In the [File] section, find the DXF Use HPGL Pen Mapping= keyname. After the equal (=) sign, type 1.
3. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.
When you restart Imagenation, AutoCAD files that contain pen lines will be displayed with the same colors set for HPGL and Calcomp files.
