$image\maketool_shg.gif$ Troubleshooting: Raster optimization

Selecting speed optimizations in Preference Options (Preference $image\arrow_shg.gif$ Options) can affect the display of raster images. Try the following to correct display problems.

· If image distortions occur on scroll, clear the Fast Scroll check box in the Optimize category (Preference $image\arrow_shg.gif$ Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Optimize).

· If images look too pale, deactivate the View, Sample command. (It gets activated automatically when Fast Display is selected.)

· If the image display is too inaccurate, clear the Fast Display and the Fast Scroll check boxes in the Optimize category (Preference $image\arrow_shg.gif$ Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Optimize).
