Scaling ME10 images

By default, the Scale To Fit option is selected for ME10 files. This has the following effect:

· On open, ME10 images are scaled to E-size and are displayed at 1200 dpi.

· On import, ME10 images are scaled to fit over the raster image on the page (if any), and still display at 1200 dpi.

The resolution of imported ME10 images is not affected by the Use Raster Mapping on Vector Load keyname in the [File] section.

If you prefer, you can disable automatic scaling of ME10 images and define a specific scale factor for them.

To define an input scale factor for ME10 images:

1. Choose Preference $image\arrow_shg.gif$ Options.

2. Click the $image\plus_shg.gif$ beside Format.

3. Click ME10.

4. Under Scaling, click Scale Factor.

5. After "1 Unit =", type or select the scale factor to apply to ME10 images on open. Select the equivalent unit in inches or cm.

6. Click Save. Click OK.

Newly opened ME10 images will be displayed at the specified scale factor. (Currently open ME10 images are not affected.)
