Saving Spicer Multilayer Page and Spicer Multipage files

image\bltlrgsq_shg.gif Editions

Spicer Multilayer Page (.clf) and Spicer Multipage (.das) documents consist of a list of references to the files within the document. By editing the Image.ini file, these documents can contain files located in any directory, instead of being restricted to files in the same directory.

To save absolute path names in .clf and .das files:

1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.

2. In the [System] section of the file, find the Save Full Paths= keyname. After the equal sign (=), type 1 to save Spicer Multilayer Pages and Spicer Multipages with the absolute path names of their component files.

We do not recommend setting this keyname to 1 if you are in an integrated database system or if you expect any component files to change locations after you save the documents.

3. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.

When you restart Imagenation, the change takes effect.
