Displaying page numbering in dialog boxes

All Editions

In Imagenation, a multipage document can contain pages at different levels. You might think of the document as a book in which some of the pages are in "chapters" (embedded), and some are not.

To clarify this document structure in page dialog boxes, you may want page numbering to be displayed. For example, instead of the Multipage Contents dialog box looking like this:

image\nopage_shg.gif

It would look like this:

image\withpage_shg.gif

To include page numbering in Page dialog boxes:

1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.

2. In the [System] section, find or type in the Page Numbering in Dialogs= keyname. After the equal sign (=), type 1.

3. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.

When you restart Imagenation, the change takes effect. The Multipage Contents and Page Remove dialog boxes are displayed with page numbering. (The Page Reorder dialog box is not affected by this setting.)
