Defining modality in Gerber files

Imagenation provides three modal switches for support of non-standard plotters:

• Light—when checked, denotes light will be modal. (If the Light command is given.)

• Flash—when checked, denotes flash will be modal. (If the Flash command is given.)

• Circular Interpolation —when checked, denotes Circular Interpolation will be modal. (If the Circular Interpolation command is given.)

To define modality for Gerber files:

1. Choose Preference Options.

2. Click the beside Format.

3. Click Gerber.

4. In the Modality section, select or deselect desired modal switch checkboxes.

5. Click Save. Click OK.

Future Gerber files will be displayed using the selected aperture file. Current open Gerber files are not affected.
