Changing the location of a toolbar

By default, when docked, the toolbars display below the menu bar in the main window. You can change their position by dragging them to a different location. You can also change their orientation.

To change the location of a toolbar:

1. Mouse over a toolbar handle $image\handle.gif$ until the pointer changes to $image\toolbar_ptr.gif$ .

2. Drag the toolbar to the new location.

The toolbar is moved. The toolbar title is displayed if the toolbar is floating.

3. Drag the bottom edge of the toolbar to change it to a vertical orientation.

When you restart the program, the toolbar appears at the selected location.
