All Editions
Keeping all pages of a long multipage file loaded can slow down your system. To improve performance, edit the Image.ini file to keep fewer pages loaded at one time.
To specify the number of pages to keep loaded:
1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.
2. In the [System] section, find the Unload Max= keyname. After the equal sign (=), type an integer value that represents the number of pages to keep loaded. To improve performance, set it to a smaller value than its current one, but a value larger than 0, because 0 disables page unloading.
If set to 6, for example, the current page and the last five viewed are loaded into memory. The rest are not.
3. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.
When you restart Imagenation, the "Unload Max" value specified is used for all subsequent multipages.
