Some vector images may contain lines or stroke fonts that are so thin they become too faint (or even disappear) after the image is rasterized. By default, minimum line widths defined for printing such images are also used for rasterizing. If you prefer, you can specify different minimum widths for text and lines to be used in rasterized (and faxed) images.
To set a minimum line and text width for rasterizing:
1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.
In the [System] section:
2. Type in Apply print settings to rasterize=0.
Note that disabling this option also prevents pen mapping values from being used in rasterized images.
3. Find the Minimum Output Line Width= keyname. After the equal sign (=), type the width value, a space, and the units to use: pels,in, ft, cm, mm, m, twips, or pts.
Example: Minimum Output Line Width=2 mm
4. Find the Minimum Output Text Width= keyname. After the equal sign, type the width value, a space, and the unit to use. The unit options are the same as for line width.
5. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.
When you restart Imagenation, image lines and stroke fonts will use the specified values as a minimum width for rasterizing (and faxing).
