The Imagenation user interface does not allow you to specify dashing or dot patterns for Rubout, Erase Area, Highlighter, or Highlight Area. To apply those line and frame styles to these objects, you have to edit the Image.ini file.
To select a line style other than solid for erase or highlight objects:
1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.
2. In the [Tool] section, locate the Rubout Linestyle=, Erase Area Linestyle=, Highlighter Linestyle=, or Highlight Area Linestyle= keyname.
3. After the equal sign (=), type 1 to use dashed lines or 2 to use dotted lines.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as required.
5. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.
When you restart Imagenation, the line style selected will be used when drawing those objects.
