Rasterizing images automatically

Editions

The [System] section of the Image.ini file contains a series of "rasterize on" keynames--rasterize on crop, rasterize on despeckle, and so on. When enabled, these keynames cause images to be rasterized before the other action is performed.

Because these actions apply to the active raster layer only, rasterizing first causes all layers to be affected by the command. You may want to enable these in integrations where you are trying to hide the layer structure of documents in Imagenation.

To rasterize images automatically before performing another action:

1. By default, the "rasterize on" keynames in the Image.ini file are locked. To unlock them, you or an integrator must create a custom Image.src file, and set all "rasterize on" settings to 2 in its [System] section. For more information, refer to the Imagenation CFG Help (cfg.hlp) that you can download from our web site.

2. When the settings are unlocked, open the Image.ini file in a text editor.

3. In the [System] section, find the rasterize on action= keynames. Set any that you want to enable to 1.

4. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.

5. Close and for the change to take effect.

When you restart Imagenation, images will be rasterized before the operations that were enabled. Note that the color on edit layers will be lost.
