Prompting for hotspot data

Editions

With the Hotspot tool you can place hotspots on active edit layers. By default, a dialog box appears in which you can place hotspot data. Through the Image.ini file, you can define the appearance of this dialog box, or set whether it appears at all.

To configure how you place data in hotspots:

1. Open the Image.ini file in a text editor.

In the [Tool] section:

2. Find the Hotspot Data Prompt= keyname. After the equal sign (=), type 1 to have the Hotspot Data dialog box appear when you place a hotspot. Type 0 to have no dialog box appear.

3. If you have set the Hotspot Data dialog box to appear, use the Hotspot Single Line Edit= keyname to define the size of the dialog box. After the equal sign, type 0 for a multiline text box or 1 for a single-line text box.

4. Save the Image.ini file, and close it.

When you restart Imagenation and place a hotspot, the set defaults are used.
