Associating files with Imagenation

The Windows installation program associates a number of file formats with Imagenation. During the install, a dialog box appears and shows you all the possible file associations that Imagenation knows about. To change an existing association, click the check box of that particular file format in the dialog box.

When you double-click one or more files of a type associated with Imagenation, each file selected opens in its own document window in Imagenation. (For details on how to associate files with Imagenation after the program is installed, refer to your Windows documentation.)

$image\postit_shg.gif$ If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, altering file associations after installation could break existing associations. For details, see File associations in Windows 2000 and XP.

Note that file associations do not work on UNIX operating systems.
