The [View] section contains the default Imagenation display options. Most are set in the Preference Options dialog box, but a few require Image.ini file editing. For an explanation of the view preferences, click the Help button in the Preference Options dialog box (Preference
Options).
Purpose Defines the display style for the 3D model when it is active.
To Change Use the "Interactive" list in the View Options category (Preference
Options,
3D, View Options).
Values 0 = Smooth Shading
1 = Flat Shading
2 = Wireframes
3 = Points
Default 0

Purpose Defines whether the 3D model turns automatically according to the angle and speed set in the Configure Autospin dialog box.
To Change Use the "Autospin" check box in the View Options category (Preference
Options,
3D, View Options).
Values 0 = Do not auto rotate
1 = Auto rotate

Purpose Defines whether the 3D model is displayed in a transparent container to indicate the model's extents.
To Change Use the "Bounding Box" check box in the View Options category (Preference

Values 0 = Do not show 3D Bounding Box
1 = Show 3D Bounding Box

Purpose Defines the part color for a 3D model if a color is not predefined in the document.
To Change Use the "Default Part Color" list in the View Options category (Preference
Options,
3D, View Options).

Purpose Defines the display style for the 3D model when it is still.
To Change Use the "Still" list in the View Options category (Preference

Purpose Defines which side of the 3D model will display when 3D documents are opened and the 3D Model mode is selected.

5 = Top
6 = Bottom

Purpose Defines whether the 3D model is displayed so that its scale decreases according to its distance from the viewer.
To Change Use the "Perspective Projection" check box in the View Options category (Preference

Values 0 = Do not use Perspective Projection
1 = Use Perspective Projection

Purpose Defines how much the 3D model is rotated when you use the X, Y, and Z Rotate buttons.
To Change Use the "Rotate Step" scroll box in the View Options category (Preference
Options,
3D, View Options).
Values number = rotation amount in degrees

Purpose Defines the rendering of a 3D model.
To Change Use the "Rendering Type" list in the View Options category (Preference
Options,

Values 0 = Single-sided - renders the "front" side
1 = Double-sided - renders front and back sides

Note If 3D Surface Rendering is set to Single-sided, parts of the model may not always be visible.
Purpose Defines how the 3D document in displayed and how you may interact with it.
To Change Use the "3D Model" option in the View Options category (Preference

1 = 3D Model mode

Purpose Enables or disables scrolling outside of the page extents.
To Change Edit the Image.ini file.
Values 0 = Do not allow scrolling outside page extents
1 = Allow scrolling outside page extents

Notes When set to 0, if all four edges of the page are within the display window, no scrolling is allowed. If all four edges of the page are outside the display window, scrolling is allowed in all directions. Once an edge is visible in the display window, scrolling in that direction is disabled.

Purpose Defines whether a zoom region can be moved or canceled after it is selected, before the zoom is done.

Values 0 = zoom occurs immediately
1 = after zoom region is selected, it can be moved by dragging the box, or canceled by clicking outside the box. To perform the zoom, click inside the box. This is typically used for touch screens.

Purpose Defines the scale at which the Detail window initially displays the pointer location.

Purpose Defines whether to display the borders of a vector page. To see raster page outlines or formatted text borders and so on, this setting must be turned off.

Purpose Defines a distance from the pointer within which hotspots are highlighted and can be activated. Use it only when "Single Click Activation=1" (in this section).

A non-zero value means the hotsport will be highlighted when the cursor is within that number of screen pixels of the hotspot MER.

Purpose Enables hotspot highlighting in touch screen applications, in which a "pointer" cannot be placed on a hotspot.

Values 0 = normal hotspot highlighting method.
1 = highlight hotspots when the mouse button is down, the equivalent of touching the screen on a touch screen application. Prevents the use of the right mouse button for zooming.

Purpose Defines whether the horizontal scroll bar is displayed.
To Change Use the "Horizontal" check box under "Scroll Bars" in the Window category (Preference

Values 0 = do not display the horizontal scroll bar.
