Ignored keynames

A

Allow Cuts Rubouts Erase Areas Outside Image=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether the cut, copy, rubout, or erase area can extend beyond the edge of the page.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = crops the cut, copy, rubout, or erase area to the edge of the image.
	1 = extends the cut, copy, rubout, or erase area beyond the image.

Allow Single-Layer Page Files=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether the Spicer Document (.smf) format can be used for saving single-layer documents, when using the standard Save dialog box.

Apply print settings to rasterize=0 | 1

Purpose	Makes pen map files and minimum vector line widths set for printing also apply to rasterized images.

Attribute Prompt On Create=0 | 1

Purpose	When set to 1, the user is asked to assign a label on creation of a layer or a page.

AutoExecuteX=program

Purpose	defines the name of any program that you want started automatically when Imagenation starts.

automatically create edit layer on all pages=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether an active edit layer is automatically placed on each page.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = do not automatically add edit layers to pages
	1 = automatically add edit layers to each page

Decimal Accuracy=integer

Purpose	Defines the number of digits displayed after the decimal point in all dialog boxes that display units.

Values	Any integer starting at 1.

Demand Loading File Size=size

Purpose	Defines the minimum file size threshold above which demand loading will be used.
	Demand Loading is used if the file size is greater than 1MB and the "Minimize Resources" option in the Optimize category (Preference > Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Optimize) is enabled, or when the file is larger than the value defined in the Demand Loading File Size setting. Demand loading will also be used when you are viewing a file as it is being written, during scanning for example.

Dialog Box Font Face=font-name

Purpose	Defines the font used in dialog boxes.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	The name of any font available on your system.

Dialog Box Font Size=size

Purpose	Defines the size of the font used in dialog boxes.

Disable Display Pixel On Rasterize=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether the thickness of vector lines or objects is controlled by the image information in the document or by the screen display. Turning on this setting will produce clearer rasterized dashed lines or patterns, for example, in ME10 files.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = use screen display to rasterize.
	1 = use image information to rasterize.
Default	0
Editions	All except Office editions and Scan-View-Edit.
Note	This keyname is especially useful for MI files.

Disable header rotation on load=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether to ignore the rotation in a file's header and use a rotation of 0 degrees in its place.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = use the header rotation of the file
	1 = ignore the header rotation of the file and use 0 degrees

Enable Automatic Selection = 0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether the last selected object is automatically reselected when the Select command (Group $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Select) is reactivated.

Values	0 = do not automatically reselect last selected object.
	1 = automatically reselect last selected object.
Default	1

Enable Gdiplus Rendering = 0 | 1

Purpose	Enables or disables the GDI+ vector engine. GDI+ rendering can be slower than regular GDI rendering so disabling GDI+ may increase performance in some cases.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = GDI+ vector engine is disabled
	1 = GDI+ vector engine is enabled and will be used for rendering

Enable View While Loading =0 | 1

Purpose	Enables or disables progressive display of a raster document while it loads.
	Demand Loading is used if the file size is greater than 1MB and the "Minimize Resources" option in the Optimize category (Preference > Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Optimize) is enabled, or when the file is larger than the value defined in the Demand Loading File Size setting. If a document will take less than 2 seconds to fully display, view-while-loading will not be used. Additionally, only non-rotated images can be displayed in this manner. Enable View While Loading is dynamic and may be affected by other active processes under Windows. Data will display as it loads and the full display will be refreshed once the load completes.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = Load the complete document into memory and then display it.
	1 = Display the document as it is read and processed from disk.

export layer dialog displayed=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines which style of dialog box is displayed for exporting layers.

Fast Load Size Thr=size

Purpose	Defines a threshold beyond which raster images are stored in the Group 4 format. Images smaller than the specified size are stored in a simple, compressed format that uses more memory, but is also faster to load. This setting is not used when the Minimize Resources check box is selected in the Optimize category of the Preference Options dialog box.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	Image size in inches squared of the largest image to store in the simple compressed format.
Default	160

Flag Dirty Doc=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether documents with unsaved modifications are indicated by an asterisk (*) in the title bar.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = Do not flag new or modified documents
	1 = Flag unsaved documents with an asterisk

Fast Scroll Mode=scroll-mode

Purpose	Enables or disables fast scrolling mode for selected formats. When enabled, a full refresh of the display is not required when panning or scrolling the file (after it is completely loaded).
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	If more than one option is required, specify the sum of the values:
	0 = Disable fast scrolling for all formats
	1 = Enable fast scrolling for all formats
	2 = Enable fast scrolling for raster formats
	4 = Enable fast scrolling for PDF
	8 = Enable fast scrolling for HPGL
	16 = Enable fast scrolling for Office formats
	32 = Enable fast scrolling for other 2D vector formats, such as DWG, DGN, etc.
Default	14 (Enable fast scrolling for all raster, PDF and HPGL formats and disable for all other formats.)

Font Search Path=directory-path

Purpose	Specifies the directory path that is searched for shape fonts (contained in some AutoCAD files), in addition to the Imagenation Fonts folder.

Highlight Box Colour=0 | 1 | 2 | & | 15

Purpose	Defines the color of the crossed box in the Reference window.

Values	Any color from 0 (background) to 15 (foreground). Color options

	Any combination of a red value (0 to 255), a green value (0 to 255), and a blue value (0 to 255), each separated by a comma, where 0 means no color and 255 means the maximum amount of that color. Windows color tip

Insert Spaces When Stretching Text= 0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether to insert spaces between characters or to increase the actual character size when stretching text.

Values	0 = Do not insert spaces (stretch characters).
	1 = Insert spaces when stretching.
Default	0

Interface Profile File=directory-and-file-name

Purpose	Defines which CFG file to use.
To Change	Use the "Profile" list in the Interface category (Preference $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Interface).

L

LM IP Address=value

Purpose	Specifies the hostname of the machine on which the License Manager is installed. This hostname directs Imagenation to the location of the License Manager. This information is required by the License Manager.

Values	The hostname can be one of:
	" DNS name, for example, <computer>.company.com
	" NetBIOS name, for example, AppServer
	" IP address, for example, 10.1.1.1

LM Service Port=number

Purpose	Specifies the TCP/IP port of the License Manager. The port information is necessary for Imagenation to connect to the License Manager.

LM Time Out=number

Purpose	Defines, in seconds, how long Imagenation will wait for initial contact from the License Manager before timing out.

Load Hybrid Files

Purpose	Defines whether the DGN file loader will look for and open a hybrid file, such as a CIT file, with the same name as the requested original file.

Log Errors=0 | 1

Purpose	Determines whether to create internal error log files, by default called image.log and image.bak. These files are located in the directory specified by the "Log Filename" keyname in the [Imagenation] section of the Win.ini file on Windows.

	1 = log errors

Maximum Number Of Pages In Memory=number

Purpose	Defines how many pages of multipage documents are kept in memory.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = Keep all pages loaded in memory.
	1 = Unload all pages but the current one.
	Any other integer ("n") = Unload all pages but the current one and the last ("n" - 1) pages viewed.
Default	9

Maximum Preview Image Size=max-size

Purpose	Determines the maximum size of raster preview images in Megabytes. If ((length * width * bits per pixel) / 8 / (10241024)) is greater than the maximum preview size setting (max-size), in megabytes, the preview size is capped to max-size*. The Maximum Preview Image Size setting takes precedence over the Preview Image Size Factor.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.

Measurement Window Font Face=font-name

Purpose	Defines the font used in the Measurements window.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	The name of any TrueType or printer font available on your system.

Measurement Window Font Size=font-size

Purpose	Defines the size of the font used in the Measurements window.

Merge Tile Width=width

Purpose	Defines the width of the tile used when rasterizing images.

Values	A width value in pixels that is a multiple of 512. To disable tiled rasterizing, use 0.

Minimum Output Line Width=value units

Old Style Render=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines in what order layers are rendered on the page.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = Newer style of layer ordering is used, in which layers are rendered in the order they were placed on the page, with the active edit layer on top.
	1 = Older style of layer ordering is used, in which raster layers are on the bottom, edit layers next, and the active edit layer is on top.
Default	0
Remarks	This setting can affect the behavior of the IN_ReorderLayers function of the C API.

Open as Multipage=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether to open multiple selected files as a single multiple page file.
To Change	Use the Open as Multipage check box in the Open dialog box (File $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Open).
Values	0 = each file selected is displayed in a different window (check box is turned off)
	1 = all selected files are opened in one window, as one file (check box is turned on)

Opt Mode=integer

Purpose	Defines whether certain optimizing functions are being used for raster operations.
	To use the Demand Loading feature, enable Minimize Resources and Use Previews. Enabling Fast Scroll is also recommended.
To Change	Use the check boxes in the Optimize category (Preference > Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Optimize).
Values	0 = Do not use any optimizing functions
	4 = Fast Load
	8 = Fast Scroll
	32 = Fast Display
	2 = Minimize Resources
	16 = Use Previews

Overwrite Batch File With Same Name=0 | 1

Purpose	Defines whether files with the same name but different extensions will be overwritten during batch processing. For example, take two files in the Input directory with same name but different extensions, test.doc and test.dwf. During batch processing, both files could be converted to test.tif and the first file will be overwritten by the second. If Overwrite Batch File With Same Name is set to 0, then the original file extension is added to the output file name, resulting in two output files, test_doc.tif and test_dwf.tif.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 - Files with same name but different extensions will not be overwritten during batch processing.
	1 - Files with same name but different extensions will overwrite each other during batch processing

OverWrite Raster=0 | 1

Purpose	Determines the location of the raster image created with any of the Raster menu commands.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = place the new raster in a new document window.
	1 = replace the active document with the new raster. You are not warned that the active document is being replaced.

Page Numbering In Dialogs=0 | 1

Purpose	When set to 1, places "Page #" beside the page name in the Multipage Contents (Page $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Contents) and Page Remove (Page $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Remove) dialog boxes.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = Do not display page numbers in dialog boxes. Example

Preview Image Size=size

Purpose	Defines the maximum dimension (in pixels) of the preview image. Set this to the maximum size of the screen--often 1024.
To Change	Use the "Image Size" text box in the Optimize category (Preference $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ System, Optimize).
Values	Any size up to the maximum size of the screen in pixels
Default	1024

Preview Image Size Factor=preview-factor

Purpose	Determines the size of a preview image for large raster files. This value can help decrease repaint (Fit and zoomed in 1 or 2 steps. Once you zoom in to a certain point, we switch to the actual image data which is read from disk.) or load times. The preview size is x times the display window size. The Maximum Preview Image Size setting takes precedence over the Preview Image Size Factor and can force a maximum on the preview image size.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	Suggested optimal values are multiples of the Zoom Step value (default= 2) in the [View] section of the Image.ini file. 1, 2 and 4 are good options. Values greater than 4 are not recommended.

Print Buffer Size=size

Purpose	Defines the size of the memory buffer allocated for storing decompressed data during a print job.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	Any value from 8 to 16384. Use 50 percent or less of your computer RAM (random access memory). Suggested values include 4096, 2048, 1024, 512, 256, 64, and 32. All values are in kilobytes.

Print Landscape=0 | 1

Purpose	Some printers have difficulty printing in landscape mode, but not in portrait mode. Use this keyname to solve that problem.
To Change	Edit the Image.ini file.
Values	0 = Normal print.
	1 = When landscape orientation is specified in the Print dialog box, the printer prints the image at a portrait orientation, but rotates it by 90 degrees. The resulting print appears to be landscape but prints without any errors.

rasterize on crop=0 | 1

Purpose	When set to 1, the image is rasterized before you crop it. That means that all layers on the page become an active raster layer first. Use this when you want cropping to apply to all layers on the page, and not just the active raster layer.

Values	0 = do not rasterize images to be cropped
	1 = rasterize images to be cropped

Purpose	This keyname can be used when "OverWrite Raster=1". It controls whether the original layers are deleted after being rasterized. This is useful in a database system, where the database must keep track of all layers. This keyname is ignored if OverWrite Raster is not set.

Value	0 = do not delete the layers
	1= delete the layers
