This section defines the appearance of the Measurements window. All of these keynames can be set through the Imagenation user interface.

A

accuracy=integer

Purpose Defines how many places after the decimal point are displayed for each value in the Measurements window.

To Change Use the "Accuracy" list in the Measurements category (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements).

Values 1 = 0.0

 2 = 0.00

 3 = 0.000

 4 = 0.0000

SnapTo Center= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether or not to show a Snap To marker on the center of a circle or ellipse. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Center" check box in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button)

Values 0 = Do not show center Snap To markers

 1 = Show center Snap To markers

SnapTo Endpoint= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether or not to show a Snap To marker on the end point of an arc, elliptical arc, line, polyline segment, or polygon segment. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Endpoint" check box in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values 0= Do not show endpoint Snap To markers

 1 = Show endpoint Snap To markers

SnapTo Insertion= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether or not to show a Snap To marker on the insertion point (or drop point) of a text object. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Insertion" check box in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values 0= Do not show endpoint Snap To markers

 1 = Show endpoint Snap To markers

SnapTo Marker Color= rgb-value

Purpose Defines the color of the Snap To marker. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Marker Color" list in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values Any valid RGB value

Default 0,255,0 (green)

SnapTo Marker Size=8

Purpose Defines the size of the Snap To marker. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Marker Size" field in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values 1 to 80

SnapTo Midpoint= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether or not to show a Snap To marker on the midpoint of an arc, elliptical arc, line, polyline segment, or polygon segment. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Midpoint" check box in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values 0= Do not show midpoint Snap To markers

 1 = Show midpoint Snap To markers

SnapTo Node= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether or not to show a Snap To marker on a point object, or on text object corners other than the insertion point. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Node" check box in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values 0= Do not show node Snap To markers

 1 = Show node Snap To markers

SnapTo On= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether Snap To Object is on or not. When enabled, Snap To markers display while measuring objects and measurement start or end points snap to the marker positions.

To Change Use the Snap To Object check box in the Measurements category (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements).

Values 0 = Snap To Object is disabled

 1 = Snap To Object is enabled

SnapTo Quadrant= 0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether or not to show a Snap To marker on a quadrant point of a circle, or ellipse. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Quadrant" check box in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values 0= Do not show quadrant Snap To markers

 1 = Show quadrant Snap To markers

SnapTo X Spacingvalue units

Purpose Defines the how close, in the horizontal direction, the cursor must be to a Snap point before the Snap To marker appears. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "X Spacing" field and units list in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values Any integer value greater than zero.

 units = pels | in | ft | cm | mm | m

Default 20 pels

SnapTo Y Spacing value units

Purpose Defines the how close, in the vertical direction, the cursor must be to a snap point before the Snap To marker appears. This keyname is ignored unless the SnapTo On keyname is set to 1.

To Change Use the "Y Spacing" field and units list in the Snap To Object dialog box (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements, Settings button).

Values Any integer value greater than zero.

 units = pels | in | ft | cm | mm | m

Purpose Defines what information is displayed in the Measurements window.

To Change Use the check boxes under "Show" in the Measurements category (Preference image\lgarrow_shg.gif Options, image\plus_shg.gif View, Measurements).

Values 1 = Mode

 2 = Tool

 3 = Abs Coord

 4 = Rel Coord

 5 = Length

 6 = Points

 7 = Angle

 8 = Rel Angle

 9 = Perimeter

 10 = Area

 11 = Radius

 12 = Diameter

Purpose Defines which tool is used by default for measuring.

 1236 = Arc

 1237 = Box

 1238 – Circle

 1239 = Ellipse

 1242 = Polygon
