Use the [Fax] section keynames to configure remote faxing. Most settings require that you edit the Image.ini file.

Bottom Margin=floating-point-number

Purpose	Defines the amount by which the bottom margin overlaps on tiled faxes.
Values	Any value in inches.
Default	0.00
Editions	All except View-Redline

C

Center=0 | 1

Purpose	Centers the fax on the page.
Values	0 = do not center the fax
	1 = center the fax
Default	1
Editions	All except View-Redline

E

Exec=directory-path

Purpose	Defines the full directory path to the remote faxing program that you are using.
Values	Any valid directory path.
Defaults	None
Editions	All except View-Redline
Note	This setting is not written out by Imagenation.
Example	C:\Open Text\MkFax\MkFax.exe

Faxresmode=1 | 2

Purpose	Sets the default resolution option for faxes.
Values	1 = normal resolution (200 by 100 dpi)
	2 = fine resolution (200 by 200 dpi)
Defaults	1

Note	You can change this option in the FAX Send dialog box (File $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Fax, Normal and Fine buttons), but the change is not saved to the INI file for future sessions.

L

Left Margin=floating-point-number

Purpose	Defines the amount by which the left margin overlaps on tiled faxes.
Values	Any value in inches.
Default	0.00
Editions	All except View-Redline

M

Mode=1 | 2 | 4 | 8

Purpose	Defines the default fax orientation.
Values	1 = portrait
	2 = landscape
	4 = best fit
	8 = minimum length
Default	1
Editions	All except View-Redline
Note	You can change this option in the FAX Send dialog box (File $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Fax, Orientation list), but the change is not saved to the INI file for future sessions.

P

Phone=phone-number

Purpose	Defines the phone number to use when faxing a document.
To Change	Use the "Phone" text box in the FAX Send dialog box (File $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Fax).
Values	Any valid phone number (no dashes)

R

Right Margin=floating-point-number

Purpose	Defines the amount by which the right margin overlaps on tiled faxes.
Values	Any value in inches.
Editions	All except View-Redline
Default	0.00

S

Scale Type=scale-number

Purpose	defines how the images are scaled on fax.
To Change	Use the "Scale" list in the FAX Send dialog box (File $image\lgarrow_shg.gif$ Fax).
Values	2 = Actual Size
	8 = Actual Size or Fit
	64 = Fit to Length
	32 = Fit to Width
	1 = To Fit
	16 = No Scaling
	4 = To Half Page
Default	2

Server Dir=directory-path

Purpose	Defines the directory used for creating temporary files used in the remote faxing process. If undefined, a message appears when the user tries to fax, prompting them to cancel or to save the file to the temp directory.
Values	Any directory path that the user has write permissions to.
Default	None
