Initializing plug-ins

The browser automatically loads an applicable plug-in based on MIME type and file extensions. If two plug-ins supporting the same MIME types have been installed, the latest installed plug-in will be used to open files of that MIME type. The user cannot choose between installed plug-ins.

In the browser, the Imagenation Plug-in includes an About dialog box (click ) to provide file information. The About dialog box identifies the loaded plug-in name, version and file location.)

The Imagenation Plug-in can be initialized by two types of images:

Embedded

The image is embedded within an HTML page. The size of the Plug-in window is specified in the HTML code.

Full Page

Full page images are referenced by links within HTML pages, opened through File, Open commands, or dragged and dropped into the browser window. The Plug-in takes control of the full browser viewing window.
