The Plug-in will process two types of hotspot commands:
The Plug-in will go to the address specified in the hotspot, either locally or on the Internet. All addresses must be prefixed with "URL" and include the full path. Internet files should also include "http:\\". You can specify only one URL address per hotspot. The address may be a file or a site.
For example, URL http:\\www.spicer.com
This option can be used to implement document drilling.
Hotspots are automatically generated and will display EED (Extended Entity Data) when activated, provided appropriate settings are made in the Image.ini file. See the Imagenation System Administrator Help for more details. (New with Imagenation 4.50.)
Note: If the HTML option HOTSPOTS is set to 0 (zero), hotspots will be ignored. Once hotspots are activated for one plug-in, they are activated for all active plug-ins. To turn off hotspots, they must be disabled in all active plug-ins. Launching Hotspot.exe will also activate hotspots within the Plug-in. Hotspot.exe may be used with the Plug-in, but is not needed.
For details on creating and changing hotspots, and for using Spicers hotspot demo (Hotspot.exe), see the Imagenation documentation.
