The page that you are viewing may contain annotations, or textual notes. Annotations are special objects that can change shape from text to icon and back, or be hidden completely.

· To find out whether text on the page is a text object or annotation text, click Recognizing an annotation.

· To display annotation text as plain text or in a dialog box, click Defining the display of annotation text.

· To change an annotation's shape from text to icon and back, click Displaying annotation icons or annotation text.

· To hide annotations that are obscuring your view of the image, click Hiding annotations.
