Displaying and hiding layers

You can display or hide any layer on the current page.

Hiding some layers can make a document easier to work with. Note, however, that hiding active layers deactivates them.

To display or hide layers:

1. If the Layers window is hidden, click in the Windows toolbar.

In the Layers window:

2. If necessary, expand any base layer with CAD layers to display or hide. For details, click Expanding base layers.

3. To show or hide a single layer or CAD layer, double-click its name.

or

· To show or hide two or more layers, select their names. Right mouse click the selected names. From the menu that appears, choose Show, Hide, or Toggle.

The layers selected for display show on the page. The rest seem to disappear.
