The scroll bars at the bottom and the right of each document window allow you to move around the page without zooming in or out. Normally you will want to display these scroll bars, but if you require more screen area for an image, you can hide them.

To hide document window scroll bars:

1. Choose View Ž Options.

2. Click Window.

3. Under Scroll Bars, clear the Horizontal and Vertical check boxes. Click OK (or Set All).

The scroll bars are removed from the document window. When you want to redisplay them, repeat the procedure, but select the check boxes.
