Certain fonts in text documents are unavailable to Imagenation because they are proprietary or not stored on your system. You can substitute other fonts for them.

To substitute fonts in the active text document:

1. Choose Page ® Fonts.

The Page Preferences dialog box appears. The List of Fonts box displays the names of the fonts in the text document that are unavailable to Imagenation (if any). In the dialog box:

2. In List of Fonts, click the name of an unavailable font.

3. Substituted Font information is displayed. You can:

·   Change the Font Type.

·   Select a different Language Group.

·   Select a different font from the Substitute list.

· Change the width or height of the font by selecting a Scale X and Scale Y factor as a multiple of the original font size.

· Select or clear the attribute check boxes: Bold, Italic, Underline, and Strikeout.

The selected attributes are applied in addition to the attributes of the original font.

· Click Delete to remove the font substitution. (For display, Times New Roman at 1.0 scaling is used.)

4. To make the font substitution apply to other text documents that you open in this session, click Global.

5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 as required. Click OK.

6. Press F7 to redraw the window.

The text document is redrawn with the new fonts. The document may become longer or shorter. Unless you clicked Global, your changes affect only the active document.
