If you are viewing an image that you know (or suspect) contains pasted areas, but you are having trouble seeing where, use the Paste Outlines check box. Typically this is cleared in the View Preferences dialog box, but you can select it in View Options to locate pastes on the current page.

To find pastes on the current page:

1. Choose View Ž Options.

In the View Options dialog box:

2. Click the Show tab.

3. Select the Paste Outlines check box. Click OK or Set All.

Any raster pastes on the page are displayed as cross-hatches:

Selecting the Paste Outlines check box also moderately speeds up page scrolling and zooming.
