You can search for specific text in the active document. All displayed edit layers in the document are searched, so text is found in text documents or in vector images.
Text in annotations is not searched.
To locate specific text:
1. Choose Edit ® Find.
In the Find dialog box:
2. Type the text to search for in the Find text box.
3. Select your search Direction: All (down, then wrap around), Up, or Down.
4. Specify your search criteria. You can:
· Select the Match Case check box to search for the exact uppercase and lowercase letters specified.
· Select the Whole Words Only check box to search for entire words, and not parts of words.
5. If desired, set the color and blink setting of the search result highlight.
6. To find the next occurrence of your search term, click Find Next.
· To find only the first or last occurrence, click First or Last.
The text last found is highlighted.
7. Repeat step 5 as required.
The text last found remains highlighted until you close the Find dialog box.
