Overview: Deskewing an image

Sometimes documents are scanned crookedly, which results in skewed electronic images. To correct this, specify an angle of rotation for the image. You can:

· Deskew the image automatically. For details, click Deskewing automatically

· Have a deskew value suggested based on image analysis. For details, click Using a suggested deskew value

· Click two points on a crooked image line to define the deskew angle. For details, click Drawing the deskew area

· Specify a numeric angle value by which to deskew the image. For details, click Specifying the deskew value
