Cropping means creating a new raster image from part of the active raster image.

Four crop methods are available:

· Set Region: You draw the crop area on the image. For details, click Drawing the crop area.

· Minimal: Automatically removes all the white space around the image. Only works with bilevel rasters. For details, click Removing white space around a bilevel image.

· Auto: Automatically crops the image to the smallest standard size without loss of significant data. Only works with bilevel rasters. For details, click Cropping to the smallest standard size.

· Size: Creates a new image of the specified size. For details, click Cropping an image to a specific size.
