Applies to Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, and Vista only.
You can add color profiles to the RGB and CMYK lists in the Adobe PDF/PS category of the Format Preferences dialog box.
There are a few things to remember when adding profiles:
• Adding a profile is not the same as installing a profile. Adding a profile does not copy the file to the color directory. For details, see Installing color profiles.
• You can add as many profiles as you want but only the profile you select or add last is saved in the Color Profile list.
• An added profile appears at the end of the existing Color Profile lists.
To add a color profile:
1. Choose Preference ® Options,
Format.
2. Click Adobe PDF/PS.
3. Click Advanced.
In the Advanced dialog box:
4. If it is not already selected, enable Use Embedded Profile.
5. To add an RGB profile, click Add beside the RGB list.
or
• To add an CMYK profile, click Add beside the CMYK list.
In the Color Profile dialog box:
6. Browse to and select the profile to add.
7. Click OK.
The profile, if valid, is added to the list. If the profile is not valid, a warning message displays and the profile is not added.
