When you activate hotspots, an action occurs, if a program linked to Imagenation responds to hotspot activation. Possible actions include starting other programs, loading documents, and echoing text.

To activate a hotspot:

1. If necessary, start the program that is linked to Imagenation (such as Spicer Hotspot.exe--for details, see Starting Hotspot.exe).

2. Place the pointer on the hotspot.

The pointer changes to: $image\hotspot_shg.gif$ .

3. Double-click. (Single-click if double-clicking does not work.)

The action occurs. You can activate hotspots on any displayed layer.
