The Show category of the View Options dialog box (View ® Options, Show) defines how certain objects are displayed on the current page, or on all pages in the active document. All settings other than Stamp appear dimmed when the current page does not contain any edit layers.

View, Show) defines how certain objects are displayed in future documents. It does not affect the active document.
These are display changes only. They do not change the actual file data.
Note that in the SVE edition, only the Paste and Erase Outlines check boxes are available.
when selected, displays spreadsheets (Excel files) with an additional row and column that numbers rows numerically and columns alphabetically. This information does not appear on printed nor on rasterized documents.
when selected, displays all raster pastes as hatched outlines.
when selected, displays all erased areas and rubouts as hatched outlines.
when selected, displays all hotspots on all displayed layers. When cleared, hotspots are hidden.
