The Scale/Rotation category of the View Options dialog box (View ® Options) defines how the current page (or pages) is scaled and rotated.
The Scale/Rotation category of the View Preferences dialog box (Preference ® Options,
View) defines how future documents are scaled and rotated. It does not affect the active document.
These are display changes only. They do not change the actual file data.
defines how images are scaled on-screen.
scales the image to match the size of the window.
scales the image to match its width to the window width. In View Preferences, it also causes text documents to display the top part of the page.
scales the image to match its height to the window height.
displays the image at its actual size, given the screen resolution.
scales the image to a 1:1 scale factor, at which the placement of objects on edit layers is most accurate.
displays the current scale factor of the image and allows you to enter another one in the text box (or set it using the slider).
appears only in View Options, and appears dimmed unless the window contains multiple pages. When selected, whatever scale factor is selected (in this dialog box or through a menu command or a button) for the current page is automatically applied to all pages.
The image can be turned 0°, 90° CW, 180°, or 90° CCW.
