The Paste category of the Edit Options dialog box (Edit Ž Options, Paste) defines the attributes of pastes for the active edit layer for the current session only.

The Paste category of the Edit Preferences dialog box (Preference Ž Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ Edit, Paste) defines the attributes of pastes for future edit layers for the current and future sessions. It does not affect the active edit layer.

The Paste category of the Attributes dialog box (Group Ž Change Attributes, Paste) changes the appearance of the selected pastes.

Color:

specifies the foreground color of bilevel pasted objects.

Translucent

indicates that the layers underlying the paste will show.

Opaque

indicates that the paste will hide the underlying layers.
