The Output category of the File Preferences dialog box (Preference Ž Options, $image\plus_shg.gif$ File, Output) selects the default file formats and extensions for saving documents.

Formats

defines the formats that are used by default when you save documents.

Multipages/Multilayers:

selects the format used for saving new multilayer pages and multiple page documents.

Vector Files:

selects the format used for vector images of a read-only format, and edit layers in new Spicer Multilayer Page (.clf) and Spicer Multipage (.das) documents.

Raster Files:

selects the format used for saving new bilevel raster layers, and rasters in new Spicer Multilayer Page and Spicer Multipage documents.

Color Raster Files:

selects the format used for saving new color and grayscale raster layers, and rasters in new Spicer Multilayer Page or Spicer Multipage documents.

Save Multilayer Pages as Viewed

When selected, saves multilayer page documents with their current layer display and view options. When you reopen the page document, the saved display is used by default.
