Using the Edge Length tool

In 3D Model mode, you can measure the length of the edges on the 3D model.

To measure edge length on a 3D model:

1. Choose 3D ® 3D Measurement Tools.

2. Under Select Tool, choose Edge Length.

3. Select Units to use.

4. On the 3D model, click the edge to measure. Edges appear highlighted.

The edge length is displayed.

5. Click Reset to perform another measurement.

To measure cumulative edge length:

With the Edge Length tool selected in the 3D Measurement Tools window:

1. Under Measurements, check Cumulative.

2. On the 3D model, click the edges to measure.

The Cumulative length of selected edges and the length of the last selected edge are displayed.
