Using the Distance tool

In 3D Model mode, you can measure distances from one point to another on a 3D model.

To measure distance on a 3D model:

1. Choose 3D ® 3D Measurement Tools.

2. In the Select Tool list in 3D Measurement Tools, choose Distance if not already selected.

3. In the left side drop down list of the Measure Distance Between section, choose where you want to measure from. Either:

· Vertex

· Edge

· Face

· Midedge

4. On the 3D model, click point to measure from.

5. In the right side drop down list of the Measure Distance Between section, repeat steps 3 and 4.

The results are displayed.

6. Choose Reset to perform another measurement.
