Showing and hiding parts of the 3D model

Using the Model Explorer, you can show or hide any part on the active 3D model.

To show or hide parts:

1. If the Model Explorer is not already open, choose 3D ® Model Explorer.

2. In the Model Explorer, click the parts.

3. Right click the selected part. From the menu that appears, choose Show or Hide.

As a shortcut, you can also use the spacebar to show and hide the selected part.

You can also use the Show All or Hide All command to make all parts visible or hide all parts. The Toggle command will change the state of all parts.

While the Select tool is active, you can select parts and hide them or show all parts using a right click context menu.
