You can resize an individual part, multiple parts, or an entire 3D model. The scale factor is predefined at 1.2, allowing you to reduce or enlarge your object in steps of 20%. You can also define a custom scale factor.
Click Reset in the Transformations window to return the part or model to its original size. Note that only highlighted parts will return to their original size. If there are no parts highlighted, the entire model will return to its original position.
To scale a part:
1. Choose 3D ® Model Explorer.
In the Model Explorer:
2. Select the part or parts to scale. For details, click Highlighting Parts and Faces.
3. Choose 3D ® Transformations.
4. In the Scale section, click:

to make the part smaller.

to make the part bigger.
To scale a part using a custom scale factor:
In the Model Explorer:
1. Select the part or parts to scale. For details, click Highlighting Parts and Faces.
In the Transformations window:
2. Click Advanced.
3. Select Scale.
Under Scale Factor:
4. Type the new scale factor. For example, 0.5 creates an image half the original size, and 2 creates an image twice the original size.
5 Click Scale.
The values are not saved after the dialog box is closed.
