Tools category: 3D Preferences dialog box

Use the Tools category of the 3D Preferences dialog box (Preferences Ž 3D, Tools) to select the default settings that Imagenation uses while you interact with 3D parts and models. Click Save and click OK for the changes to take effect. Changes will not affect any currently opened documents.

Model Explorer

defines the default settings for the Model Explorer window.

Display Face Info

defines whether face information is listed in the Model Explorer.

Transformations

defines the default settings for the Transformations window.

Translate Step

sets the distance the 3D model or parts move while using the Translate commands in the Transformations window.

Rotate Step

sets the amount that the 3D model or part rotates while using the Rotate command in the Transformations window.

Scale factor

sets the default zoom level for the Scale commands in the Transformations window.

Measurements

sets the default units for measuring when using the 3D Measurement Tools window.
