You can define cutting options for cross-sectioning a 3D model. This enables you to define what portion of the model to display and how you want the cross-sectioning slider to behave.

The Active check box must be selected.

To define cross-section cutting options for 3D models:

1. Choose 3D ® Cross-Section.

In the Cross-Section window:

2. Choose Options ® Cut and then choose one of:

· Normal Cut (default)

· Reverse Cut

· Show All

· Show Edge Only

3. If you want, you can change the clipping plane orientation.

4. Move the slider left or right to adjust the position of the clipping plane. For more precise movement, you can also use the right and left arrow keys on your keyboard.
