For more detailed cross-sectioning, you can view the interior of one or more parts of the 3D model.

To cross-section one or more parts of a 3D model:

1. Using the Model Explorer, hide all of the parts you do not wish to cross-section. For details, see Showing and hiding parts of a 3D model.

2. Define the clipping plane and cutting options. For details, see Defining the cross-section plane or Defining cross-section cutting options.

3. Move the slider left or right to adjust the position of the clipping plane. For more precise movement, you can also use the right and left arrow keys on your keyboard.
