Adding text markups to 3D models

You can place text markups on a 3D model. The text will remain anchored to its original position while you rotate, resize, or reposition the 3D model.

To place a text markup on a 3D model:

1. Choose $image\cmtext_shg.gif$ on the 3D toolbar.

The pointer changes to $image\text3d.gif$

2. Click the location on the model to mark up and then drag the arrow to where you want to place the text. When you release the mouse button the Text dialog box appears.

In the Text dialog box:

3. Choose the Color to use for the markup.

4. Type the text to place. For details, click Entering text.

5. Click OK.

The Text tool remains active.
