E-mailing a document

You can attach Imagenation documents to e-mail messages, as long as the e-mail program used is CMC-compatible. Before appearing as an attachment, the Imagenation document is converted to the Spicer Document (*.smf) or Multipage TIFF format. You can specify which of these you want to use.

To find out what format documents are converted before being attached to an e-mail message:

· Use the GetMailDocumentFormat transaction.

To change the file format used:

· Use the SetMailDocumentFormat transaction.

Note theat the recipient of the e-mail message must have Imagenation or another viewer capable of loading the attached document to be able to read it.
