Imagenation's DDE API contains many useful transactions and notifications, but relies on Microsoft's older DDEML technology.
OLE Automation is a precursor to Microsoft's current ActiveX technology. It works on the same principles as ActiveX.
You can use the techniques described in this Help file to call DDE Requests, Executes, and Notifications through OLE Automation. Although this is not true object-oriented programming, it does allow you to use virtually all the DDE API functionality through OLE Automation instead of having to use DDEML.
Find out what changes have been made, and what transactions and notifications have been added to recent releases.
