Vector objects are the base elements that make up edit layers. They include arcs, circles, boxes, lines, text, annotations, cuts, erases, and pastes. You can define permissions for all vector objects, and for hotspot and annotation objects specifically.
These permissions are not attached to specific vector objects, or to the edit layers that contain the vector objects. Instead they set the state of the program. Therefore, you can change the vector object permissions during a session, and both current and future vector objects are affected.
