The CFG file is the compiled version of the source configuration file (.src). The SRC file is an ASCII text document containing sections and keynames. To create a new CFG file, you must first edit the keynames and sections in the SRC file that you will compile. You can give CFG and SRC files any name, but at least one image.cfg file must be in the Imagenation program directory. Imagenation looks for the image.cfg file by default.
Different CFG files can distinguish work environments and integrations. These files can then be selected in Imagenation, as long as they are located in the Imagenation program directory. For details, see Selecting different CFG files.
To create a new CFG file:
1. Open a SRC file in a text editor, such as Notepad. (To obtain a SRC file, contact Spicer Corporation Customer Support -- support@spicer.com.)
2. Edit the required sections and keynames. For details, see Editing the SRC file.
3. Save the SRC file. You can save it with any name, as long as it has the .src extension.
4. Compile the SRC file as a CFG file. For details, see Compiling a CFG file.
