Adding edit layers automatically

Through the SRC file, you can set a keyname that automatically keeps an active edit layer layer on a page at all times. This is a useful keyname if you are working in an environment in which you want users to mark up documents, but want to hide the concept of layers.

This keyname is ignored if you have a View edition of Imagenation.

To have an active edit layer on a page at all times:

1. Open the SRC file in a text editor.

2. In the [System] section, type automatically create edit layer on all pages=. After the equal sign (=):

· Type 1 to automatically add an edit layer.

or

· Type 2 to unlock the "automatically create edit layer on all pages" keyname in the Imagenation INI file.

3. Save the SRC file and compile it. (For details, see Compiling a CFG file.)
