Some keynames in the [System] section of the SRC file control how Imagenation operates, including the look of title bars, the definition of layer and vector object permissions, and the ability to configure the results of certain commands.

The keynames are listed in alphabetical order. To find a specific keyname, click a letter at the top of the page. As well, the procedures related to a specific keyname are listed in the "See also" field. For details on how to use that keyname, and to find other related keynames, click that procedure topic.

A

active edit layer in window title=0 | 1

Purpose Defines whether the phrase "Layer: label" appears at the end of the document window title bars when a page that contains an active edit layer is displayed.

Values 0 = Do not display the label of active edit layers.
1 = Display the label of active edit layers.

Default 1

Purpose Defines whether all types of layers are defined as special. You can define separate permissions for special layers.

Purpose Controls the display of 3D user interface options, including Preference, Toolbars subcommands.

Purpose Defines whether you can double-click annotations to display them as text or as an icon.

 The pointer normally changes shape to an annotation icon when passing over annotations. When this keyname is set to 0, the pointer does not change.

 You can still use the View, Annotations, Maximize and View, Annotations, Minimize commands to display annotations as text or as icons even if this keyname is set to 0.

Purpose Defines whether you can delete annotations.

Values 0 = Annotations cannot be deleted.

Purpose Defines whether the Display Settings category is displayed under 3D in the Preference Options dialog box. This keyname is ignored if allow 3D interface is not set.

Purpose Defines whether the Edit category is available in the Preference Options dialog box (Preference image\arrow_shg.gif Options).

2 = Unlock the "automatically create edit layer on all pages" keyname in the Imagenation INI file so that the keyname can be controlled in that file.

2 = Unlock the "remove merged layers" keyname in the Imagenation INI file so that the keyname can be controlled from that file.
